After the great success of the Grand Classics film series in New York and upon realizing that many of the committee members were UK based, Indyssey launched Grand Classics London in June of 2003.
The London series is held at the very luxurious Electric Cinema on Portobello Road, lending another very special environment in which to see a film. Grand Classics opened in London with Oscar winning writer/director Anthony Minghella (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley) presenting Federico Fellini's I Vitelloni. Other events have included: Kevin Costner presenting Cool Hand Luke, Jim Broadbent presenting The Palm Beach Story, Bob Hoskins presenting Rififi, Jude Law presenting The Night of the Hunter, Sir Michael Caine presenting Casablanca, and Johnny Lee Miller presenting Singin' in the Rain.
